社團法人中華民國學貓過貓咪中途愛心照護協會 is a cat-focused foster and rescue-care organization based in Neihu District, Taipei. Its mission is to bring together cat-loving supporters so stray cats can receive reasonable, friendly, safe, and healthy care, then be adopted into suitable homes. Unlike a municipal shelter, 學貓過 is closer to a dedicated cat foster home and intermediate-care organization. Its work includes emergency street-cat rescue, post-sterilization foster placement, maintaining foster cats’ health, keeping food and care environments clean, and regularly holding adoption activities. Prospective adopters must complete a pre-adoption interview assessment form and consent to 6 months of post-adoption follow-up via LINE@, making this one of the more structured adoption screening programs among Taiwan's public shelters.

Faith for Animals Association is a legally registered animal-protection organization in Taiwan. Its roots come from the NTU Life Care Club’s long-term TNvR work with campus and northern Taiwan stray dogs. Unlike a rescue group centered on shelter housing, public visiting, or direct adoption listings, Faith for Animals focuses on scientific, high-intensity female-dog sterilization as a way to reduce stray-dog populations at the source. Its work combines population surveys, household visits, public reporting, humane capture and transport, veterinary surgery, microchip registration, and return-to-place follow-up, working with local residents, volunteers, and government partners to reduce puppy births, shelter pressure, and human-dog conflict.
