Visit the shelter — bring your ID and be at least 20 years old
- Visit Tainan City Animal Shelter Wanli Station or Shanhua Station during open hours
- Applicants must be at least 20 years old and bring a government-issued ID

Browse and select your animal
- Browse the dog and cat housing areas freely and choose an animal
- If the animal has reached its public notice period or is a young animal, you may proceed with adoption immediately
- If the animal has not yet reached its public notice period, you may make a reservation — the adoption must be completed within 7 days or the reservation is automatically cancelled

Complete the adoption application
- Fill out the adoption application form at the office and present your ID document

Microchip implantation and pet registration (free)
- Staff will assist with microchip implantation and pet registration at no charge

- Free rabies and 7-in-1 combination vaccination

Spay/neuter surgery — completely free
