Plan your visit and book the shuttle if needed
- The shelter is in a mountain area — drive or book the free taxi shuttle at least 2 days in advance (departs Ruifang Train Station): 0932-924-632, available 7 days a week 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

- Open weekdays only (Monday to Friday) — do not visit on weekends

Visit the shelter and choose your animal
- Arrive at the "mountain cathedral" shelter and interact with dogs in the open green spaces and exercise areas
- Browse the dog and cat areas and choose an animal
- Dog socialization training demonstrations and family interactive education sessions are available on-site

Complete the application and ID verification
- Bring a government-issued ID — applicants must be at least 20 years old
- Complete the adoption application form and any supporting documents

Complete animal registration
- Staff will assist with microchip implantation (if not yet chipped), pet registration, and rabies vaccination
- Adoption is free of charge
- You will receive the "Love You Forever" Platinum Pet Card at the time of adoption

Take your pet home safely
- Dogs: bring a leash or appropriate carrier
- Cats: bring a hard-sided carrier to prevent escape during transport

Legal obligations after adoption
- Spay/neuter: required by law unless a licensed vet provides a medical exemption
- Annual rabies vaccination: required — free for life with Platinum Card at any New Taipei City shelter or Animal Protection Office
- Microchip registration: must be completed within 4 months of adoption
- Dogs must be leashed in public at all times
