What happens after you submit

  1. 1 We receive your claim request. Your submission lands with our team immediately. We will verify that you are affiliated with the organization — usually within one to two business days.
  2. 2 We reach out to confirm. We will contact you to complete verification. Nothing changes on your public profile until you have approved it.
  3. 3 You get full access. Once verified, you will receive login credentials for your organization dashboard. From there you can start adding animals, updating your profile, and managing applications immediately.
  4. 4 We help you get set up. If you would like to import your existing animal listings or connect your current management system, our team will walk you through the options — no technical knowledge required.

No. Claiming your organization profile and listing your animals on Pawsumés is completely free for rescue organizations and shelters. We will always offer a free tier for animal listings — that is core to what we are building.

No. If you are happy with your current tools, you do not need to change anything. We can work with you to connect Pawsumés to your existing system so your listings stay updated automatically — no double entry required. If your current system supports data export or an API, we can likely sync with it directly.

Pawsumés created an initial profile for your organization using publicly available information, so that adopters searching for animals could find you. If you would prefer this profile to be removed, please contact us and we will take it down promptly, no questions asked.

We will reach out via the contact information you provide and ask you to confirm your affiliation. For larger or formally registered organizations we may also cross-reference your organization's public contact details. The process is simple and conversational — not bureaucratic.

At minimum: the animal's name, species, age, sex, and a photo. Everything else — personality description, health history, compatibility notes, adoption requirements — can be added at your own pace. We would rather have animals listed with basic information than not listed at all.

Yes. If you manage a large number of animals, get in touch and we can explore bulk import options — from a spreadsheet, or directly from your current system. We will handle the technical side so your team does not have to.
